Have not found any parents for Nathaniel. As of Feb 2005.
He
married Rebecca Sawyer, Dec 26, 1811, born Aug 02, 1794 in
Jonesboro,Washington Co,ME, (daughter of Nehemiah Sawyer and Rebecca Sawyer)
died
Dec 15, 1853 in
Jonesport,ME.
Children:
2. i Charles
W. Church b. ab1830.
ii Mary Ann Church, born Aug 21, 1814 in Jonesport,
ME.

ME, died July 16, 1890.
Second Generation
2.
Charles W. Church, (1.Nathaniel1) born ab1830 in Jonesport, ME, died
in NS. Got information on Family in 1881
Census for River Hebert NS. We know he was
living in NS in 1875 as his son
Charles is listed on 1881 census as born in NS. I suspect he and his daughter
Livona and William Cates who also came in 1875 came at the same time.
He
married Mercy Jane French, born AB 1831 in USA, died in
NS?. Mercy: According to the 1881
Census Jane is 40 however this would only make her
13
when she had Livonia, I suspect the date should be 1831. Just a guess.
Unfortunately I did not find them on the 1901 census so they were either
deceased or returned
to
US.

ii Walter E. Church, born ab 1857 in USA. From talking to Doris Watson. I learned she
corresponded with Walters Daughter Dorothea Church Barlett. Dorothea
was
90 in 1981 in one of the letters. I guess that would make her born ab 1891. In
this letter she refers to meeting only one of the Church family that was Frank
she
said
he was a "charming man". I believe Doris mentioned he was a
Shipwright in Milbridge Mass.
iii Frank W. Church, born ab 1863 in US.
