Watson- Jessie
Watson, Sarah Amelia Bell Scott Ancestors
Watson English, Scottish
A patronymic form of the English and Scottish name Watt, which came from
the extremely popular Middle English given name Wat or Watt,
which was a pet
form of the name Walter. The surname Watson thus means
"son of Watt".
Much of the
information I gathered on the Watson family came from census and cemetery
records for Upper Musquodoboit and
much information on Delia’s family
from Mae Archibald McBeth whom she had help straightening out from Earl Taylor.
The
picture of Delia and the headstone pictures came from Earl Taylor via Mae.

Grammy’s brother Ellis Bell. However I now see
that the name came from dad’s gg grandmother Margaret Ellis Watson. Birth date
